Brow Lamination is a relatively new treatment in the beauty industry and comes from the ‘fluffy brow’ trend where you brush your brows upwards and over using a brow gel to give a more soft, thicker, fluffy brow. Unfortunately not everyone is blessed with flexible, long brow hair. Thus Brow Lamination was born to break and reset the keratin bonds in the brow hair making it more flexible and allow you to brush your unruly brow hair up to style.
It is performed using the same products as a Lash Lift.
Your Brow Artist will apply the brow lamination products and sculpt your brows into shape before waxing to remove any stray hairs. They will then tint the brows to your ideal shade before apply a regenerating Brow Serum to protect the brows as they set in place. Your brows will appear darker, shinier and more ‘set’ immediately after treatment due to this Brow Serum.
Brow LAMINATION
Brow Lamination lasts 6-8 weeks and it is important to leave at least 6 weeks between treatments to avoid over processing the brow hair. If you rebook too soon you risk damaging the brow hair.
Aftercare is important following a Brow Lamination to get the best results. You must not get your brows wet for 24 hours to allow the Brow Lamination to ‘set’ fully and you must use a conditioning oil to protect and condition the hair. Imagine a Brow Lamination like bleaching or perming your hair. You must condition your hair after a chemical process to protect it.
A patch test is essential before any Brow Lamination service, you can book a patch test online.
